The Bible teaches us to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature, telling them of Jesus Christ, the Saviour of all mankind, and revealing to all mankind its sinful and lost condition before a righteous and holy God, the Lord Jesus Christ. We financially and prayerfully support over 50 missionaries serving God in the United States and around the world. We do personal evangelism in Pottstown, in Reading, and from door to door in our local communities and any other place God gives us the liberty to tell the old, old story of Jesus and His love.
Bible Believers Baptist Church is made up of sinners saved by the grace of God, with a heart's desire to please the Lord. The Lord has blessed us with families that want to rear their children for the glory of God and want to keep them clean and pure from the filth of the world. How sweet it is for brethren and sisters to dwell together in unity and fellowship as God meets with us as we seek to worship Him in spirit and in truth.
On November 24, 1982, Bible Believers Baptist Church was started by Pastor Michael Collingwood. Founded upon the King James Version of the Bible, bought with the precious blood of Jesus Christ and commanded to preach the gospel to a lost and dying world has been the purpose of our church for over twenty years.
Birthed in a storefront on High Street in downtown Pottstown, the church began to grow and later moved to a location on North Hanover Street. Then, in 1990, God provided us with our own property and building on Constitution Avenue in Stowe. We have seen God do some wonderful things TO us and FOR us over the years.
Not only do we have a great history, but we believe, by the grace of God, that we also have a great future. Maybe that future includes having YOU as part our church family!
