Dear Friends,

We crossed the Mississippi River a few weeks ago and are now officially in the East for the next year-and-a-half. Here's the scoop.

Four New Tires
While pulling through Arizona, I heard a “Pop”! I checked all the gauges on the coach. Everything was OK. Then I checked the rearview monitor. Smoke was billowing out from under the front fenders of the truck! The left front tire had blown, which caused the front wheels to turn hard to the left. Not that that would influence the coach! Instead, it shredded the tread off the right front tire. I pulled off and changed the tire, and Kathy drove it to the next exit where we got a campground. Next day I had to put four new tires on the truck. The rear ones were getting down there, so we did them all.

The Meetings
Kathy & I both have commented on the good spirit in the meetings. We've seen souls saved and Christians determine to serve the Lord.

A “Bad” Good Result
It used to be that it took 18 months to get everyone in the West a meeting who wanted one. Thus, the guys in the West got a meeting every three years. In the East, if I gave everybody a meeting, I'd be over here for about four straight years and never make it west. But this last time out west we encountered some “good” problems. There were about six new pastors that requested meetings. Plus, the Pacific Circuit, which started out as four weeks, has now swelled to thirteen! That's a quarter of the year! Thus, some of the newer guys out west will not be able to get meetings every three years.

Getting Around
I preached in Rick Sowell's Pastors' School in Toledo, OH, and Keith Gomez's Pastor's School in Elgin, IL. Both were good meetings. It is encouraging to see so many preachers who still desire to do something for the Lord.
Also, as well as having preaching meetings, I taught on the King James Bible at Champion Bible College and Providence Bible College as a “Visiting Professor” to help the students believe and defend their Bible. Those classes went well.

Book News
The We Are Americans booklet has been going out by the hundreds. Pastor Steve Andrus in California has been passing them out outside a local college and public school. Pastor Terry Anglea put out a bunch in his community in Illinois, and Pastor Ron Robinson in Fairbanks, Alaska, passed out 1,000 of them at the public dedication of a monument honoring WWII pilots. Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld, was at that dedication. Pastor Robinson gave Sec. Rumsfeld a gospel tract, a We Are Americans booklet, and a copy of Fight On!
Also, our DayStar home office got a call from the office of a congressman interested in We Are Americans. That would be nice.
Get ready for a small avalanche of things from DayStar Publishing. I have a new book out which I did with Dr. Bobby Adams. It documents every single Textus Receptus reading which has been reinserted into the critical Greek text. It should be ready as you read this.
Also, I'm working on several “kids' books.” I jokingly call one of them, “Baby's First King James Book.” It used to be that we told our high-schoolers to stay away from drugs when they got to college. Now, they have drugs in junior high. Same thing with the King James Bible. We used to warn our graduates about Bible college attacks on the Bible. Now, they are getting hit in high school. Sooo, why not give them the information a little earlier? I'll let you know when it's ready.
I also have some bumper stickers being printed. Some are quotes by the Founding Fathers, and some are a little caustic in an effort to get Americans to THINK! When they're done, I'll send you a list of what they say.
Also, if you buy a USA Today the day after Thanksgiving and check the “Book” section of the “Gift Ideas” insert, you should see a half-page ad for Fight On! (Don't even ask!) Please pray with us that this will establish us in areas outside the camp so as to influence the country in the right direction. If the ad isn't successful, we will be opening a new enterprise of selling pencils on street corners!
Address Changes
Here's a quick reminder for those of you that have moved. Please inform us of any address changes by sending an email to gippletterupdates@msn.com . You may also send a note to the return address on the envelope in which you receive your copy of our letter. You can inform us of address changes by calling Christy Lahr at 610-327-8331. It costs us 75 cents for each letter that gets returned to us because of incorrect address information.

Well, I'd better go for now. You could never believe what your prayers do for us. Thanks!

In Christ's Service,

Samuel C. Gipp, Ph. D.
